This privacy policy explains how Cogninova (hereinafter: “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data through the website www.cogninova.nl and related services.

We value your privacy and process personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Coaching and programme data: up to 24 months after the end of the programme, unless agreed otherwise or required by law

We only share personal data with third parties when this is necessary for our services or when required by law.

We sign data processing agreements with parties that process data on our behalf, where required.

We use the platform Therapieland for coaching and treatment management and to monitor progress in coaching programmes. In this context, relevant (limited) personal data may be processed within this system, solely to provide and improve our services.

We also use Google Forms for handling registrations and intake forms. Data entered through Google Forms is used only to process requests and start our services.

For payment processing we use Mollie, a payment service provider. Mollie processes and stores payment data, including transaction details and payment status. This data is used only to process payments safely and correctly.


7. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Ensure the website functions properly

  • Analyse website usage

  • Improve user experience

  • Measure and optimise marketing campaigns

We use, among others:

  • Google Analytics (for statistics and insight into website usage)

  • Meta Pixel (for advertising measurement and remarketing)

At your first visit, we inform you about cookies and ask for consent where required for non-essential cookies such as tracking and marketing cookies.

Within Cogninova, we handle all personal data and information shared during sessions, programmes, and communication with care and confidentiality. This data is only processed for service delivery and in line with the GDPR.

Cogninova is not bound by a legal professional duty of confidentiality such as in medical professions. However, we apply contractual and professional confidentiality and do not share data with third parties unless necessary for our services or required by law.

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

  • Right to erasure

  • Right to restriction of processing

  • Right to data portability

  • Right to object

You can contact us to exercise these rights. We respond within one month. This period may be extended by two months if necessary, depending on the complexity of the request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

When this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other approved mechanisms by the European Commission to ensure an adequate level of protection.

We respond within one month. This may be extended by two months if needed.

This privacy policy applies to all visitors of www.cogninova.nl and all clients and users of our services.
